I can't resist a good chart. 95% of African American votes went to Obama. That has to be history right there. Has any group of people voted so similarly?
I think I have to say yes - after all in every US Presidential Election prior to this every white voter who voted cast their vote for a white candidate. So yeah it's a very tongue in cheek answer, but a legitimate answer to your question none the less
More seriously I'm sure if you looked outside of North America to place with large segregated populations (like in the Hindus, Chinese and Muslims/Malays in Malaysia) you'd find very little of people voting outside their 'group', if any. Hell when we were in Malaysia ppl didn't even like going to shops from outside their 'group'
